AtHotel Doria we know that the planet’s resources are not infinite and that it is up to each of us to rethink some of our daily choices for the benefit of a more balanced relationship between man and nature.
We are particularly aware of the growing impact of tourism on the environment and we want to contribute, together with our guests, to reversing this trend.
TheUN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, with its 17 goals, has shown the world the paths needed to ensure well-being for us and for future generations.
And it is a path that rings very familiar to us, having thought of and built the Hotel Doria, choice after choice, as a sustainable, environmentally friendly facility that also works for the good of our city.
Our efforts focused in particular on the following points:

- Adoption of heat pumps for heating and air conditioning without any polluting emissions
- Extensive use of LED lamps
- Automation in reducing the use of air conditioning and heating.
- Thermal and acoustic insulation using natural and ecological material

- Drinks in glass bottles
- Microfiltered water eliminating plastic bottles.
- Glass beakers in the rooms
- Courtesy line 99% biodegradable
- Eco Natural Toilet Paper
Goal: NO TO WASTE WATER (✔Goal Agenda UN)Our choices
- Reducing water waste with tap filters
- Free towel change on request. The laundry is one of the areas where great use is made of both water and detergent. We have reduced the supply of towels to reduce the number of washes. On request and free of charge, additional towels and sheets are available at reception
